Making Spirits Bright at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital this Holiday Season!

Ace Hardware came together with 4 News Now Extreme Team once again this year to put up lights in front of Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital which is really Making Spirits Bright for the kids, families, and caregivers this holiday season.

Lights are put up in the trees with care and displays are set out in the lawn below. Santa and Mrs. Claus also joined in the fun to turn on the lights for the big reveal on December 1! This is an annual tradition that brings so much joy to the little faces in the windows above who may have to spend their holidays in the hospital.

Dawn Gregg, a local Ace Hardware owner, volunteers hours of her own time on this project as well as donating ALL the lights. Together with Mark Peterson from the 4 News Now Extreme Team, Avista, and Directors Mortgage – the park is now lit up and can be seen from near and far. The park is open to the public to enjoy!

THANK YOU to everyone who helps make this a project a beautiful reality for Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital!

Sick kids don’t stop being sick during a global pandemic and unfortunately they don’t stop being sick during the holidays either. Money raised through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals helps to bring joy to the kids all year round. Donations ensure that we can purchase life-saving equipment, fund programs within our Children’s Hospital, raise awareness, and fund critical treatments and healthcare services. Every dollar raised stays local and goes directly to Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital here in Spokane.

If you’d like to help make miracles happen this holiday season – please consider stopping by your local Ace Hardware store and rounding-up your total purchase at the register. Every penny counts! You can also donate using the link in red above.
