Celebrating the Panda Cares Center of Hope at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital!
We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible contributions of Panda Express and its dedicated associates and customers in supporting the Panda Cares Center of Hope at Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. This partnership has brought joy and comfort to countless children during their extended stays, providing a much-needed reminder of home outside the patient rooms.
The Panda Express teen lounge at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital stands as a beacon of relaxation and entertainment, offering a refuge from the clinical environment of hospital care. Thanks to the generosity of Panda Express customers, who continually “round up” their purchases to donate through Children’s Miracle Network, the lounge is fully furnished and brimming with engaging activities. What makes this effort truly remarkable is that 100% of these donations remain local, directly benefiting the children’s hospital and its young patients.
The recent ribbon-cutting ceremony was a testament to the transformative power of community support. Pei Pei and other enthusiastic Panda Express team members joined in celebrating the special space that promises happiness and respite for teens in the hospital. During their visit, the team also spread joy by visiting patient rooms, delivering delightful bucket hats, Pei Pei stuffed animals, books, and an assortment of other goodies. Engaging with the Arts in Healing program, they colored pandas alongside Arts in Healing therapists, using music and artwork to help pediatric patients express their emotions.
